Last week Todd and I went to Allentown, Pennslyvania to see Todd's little brother graduate from Central Catholic High School. Well, let's just say his "little" brother is not so little anymore. Todd is pretty tall at 6'1", but his dad and his brother are both taller than him. I think Hunter is 6'4". We are very proud of Hunter and he is going to Temple University to get a degree in acting and then plans on moving out to LA to pursue his dream on making it in the world of movies. He was in a soap opera last year (One Life to Live I think) , but he doesn't plan on pursuing the soap opera world, but hopefully movies that will inspire him and challenge him. The whole visit the entire family was making jokes saying that we were going to take a bunch of funny pictures and blackmail him when he is famous. Or, take a lock of his hair and sell it on Ebay. My claim would be that I would sell a bogus story to US Weekly magazine. HAHA. Just kidding Hunter!! We love you and will always be loyal. :)
We really had a wonderful visit. Spending time with all the family is nice. It is rare to get all the Davis siblings together with Mamaw (Todd's 92 year old grandma) because everyone is on different schedules. Haley is in college, Hunter will be heading off to college now, and Colby is in grade school. Of course there is always Todd's crazy work schedule too. The family is all spread out - from Allentown, PA to Jacksonville to Orlando.
I enjoyed meeting Paula's (Todd's stepmom) sisters Jane and Cathy. They were very sweet and welcoming to us. Some other highlights of the trip besides seeing Hunter graduate were - playing board games, went on a 3.1 mile walk in the park, and baby shopping. We also celebrated Mamaw's birthday and Father's Day since we had all the family together. I wrapped Todd's Father's Day card in a Halloween bag since the due date of the baby is Oct. 27th. I thought I would try to be clever. We also went to watch Colby play soccer. We both really enjoyed it and it was really cute to see Todd getting so involved. You should have seen him standing on the sidelines. He was standing right by the coaches and getting in on all the plays. It is so much more fun going to games then watching them on TV. I actually got really involved too and cheered for Colby the whole game. I wish I would have gotten a picture of Todd standing on the sidelines near the coaches. It was funny. In a way, I think I had a moment when I just fast forwarded my life 10 years from now and envisioned myself on a set of bleachers watching Ethan play tennis and Todd also "coaching" Ethan from the sidelines. :)
Here are some pictures from the trip. I am now 5 months pregnant.
